Hi!

I'm Jonabell Ylagan, with my experience as a sole Instructional Designer leading the People Excellence Team in Lazada. With a background as a teacher and hands-on experience in developing instructional materials for both face-to-face and asynchronous learning environments, I believe I bring a strong combination of practical classroom insight and design expertise.

Since 2023, I have been working as an Instructional Designer, where I focus on creating engaging, standards-aligned content leveraging learning management systems to support differentiated instruction. I have created different communication materials like banners, posters, infographics, videos and guidebooks using different mediums. I lead the production of onboarding and training materials that is being used as a regional content and adapted by different ventures for localization. I managed learning platforms, gathered data and assessment for content improvement and development. I also supported different teams in managing localized content ensuring it's alignment to Lazada branding. My foundation in teaching literacy, combined with my instructional design role, has equipped me with a deep understanding of how to design content that is both pedagogically sound and accessible for diverse learners.
