I have been in the Finance, Accounting and Auditing industry for more than 5 years handling Hotels and Condominiums, Manufacturing, Resorts, e-Commerce, and Retail using Quickbooks and Xero. Below are some of the duties or responsibilities:
1. Bank, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Reconciliation
2. Entering of bills and invoices through QBO and Xero for Australian, US and Canadian clients
3. Ensuring that the Payables and Receivables are posted correctly.
4. Review long-outstanding receivables and payables and organize financial statements.
5. Propose adjusting entries to reconcile the sales tax account
6. Preparation of GST, QST or PST return
7. Evaluating their accounting process whether there may be risks identified and recommending controls to improve their process.
8. Conduct audit on the financial statement level.
9. Clean up of accounting books.
10. Direct reporting to CEO and top management.
