Profile Description

I am a Certified Public Accountant with over six years of comprehensive experience in general accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, audit, and tax compliance. My professional journey includes three years as a Freelance Accountant/Bookkeeper for US-based clients in various sectors such as real estate, outsourcing, e-commerce, and property management. In this role, I was responsible for recording and categorizing daily financial transactions, managing bills and invoices, monitoring payments and collections, performing bank and account reconciliations, maintaining ledgers, creating and posting journal entries, and preparing accurate and timely financial reports with insightful analysis.
Domestically, I served as the Financial Controller for nearly two years at Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu, a 5-star hotel within a real estate business. My primary responsibilities included reviewing financial reports, overseeing tax compliance and related issues, and implementing appropriate accounting practices. Prior to this, I worked as a General Accountant in the same organization for four years, where I monitored all accounting activities, supervised the accounts receivable and payable departments, performed bank reconciliations, reviewed payroll and tax filings, conducted account reconciliations, analyzed financial data, and managed the monthly and yearly closing of books.
