Profile Description
Data Engineer focused on Azure since day 1. I help clients ingest their data from different sources, stage, clean, and transform the data, and design models where they can use the data for data analysis and reporting. I design and create ingestion and orchestration pipelines, implement transformations in notebooks or Databricks, manage data in Lakehouse or SQL Server, design data models for Power BI consumption including relationships, power queries, and dax queries. I use the Azure cloud for resources, and recently got on the Microsoft Fabric bus. I am most familiar with the Medallion Architecture and use PySpark / Python / Spark SQL for transformations and data investigation. I work and communicate directly with clients on getting their requirements and consulting.
