NOC Engineer | Security & Network Operations

Perform computer repair, deployment, device configuration, peripheral installations, and cable patching. Support end-users and coordinate with vendors/teams for issue resolution.

Record and escalate network errors to clients, vendors, or internal teams. Manage SysAid tickets: assign, review, and enforce SLA deadlines. Maintain logs and reports to minimize downtime and operational impact.

Administer WatchGuard Cloud/Dimension: monitor policies, alarms, CPU/memory health. Perform monthly failover testing to ensure high availability and business continuity. Upgrade WatchGuard OS and WSM for stability and security. Manage firewall rules, access controls, and IP/domain whitelisting/blacklisting. Monitor failed login attempts via AD Audit to strengthen security posture.

Manage Active Directory: OUs, accounts, password resets, group memberships, and expirations. Configure VLANs, SSIDs, and MAC filtering for secure wireless connectivity. Assign static IPs and optimize VLAN segmentation across production and support environments.

Track MPLS latency, packet loss, drops, and RTOs using Ping Plotter. Monitor ISP MRTGs (Globe, PLDT, Eastern Telecom) for inbound/outbound bandwidth utilization. Conduct daily health checks on Cisco switches/routers via SSH, Catalyst Center, and OpManager.

Provide documentation and evidence for PCI DSS, SOC 2, GCSO, and ISO audits. Ensure IT operations meet regulatory and organizational standards.
