Medical Biller/Insurance Collections Specialist

- Investigate denied claims, submit appeals, and perform follow up activities to secure reimbursements. - Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update patient accounts in the system Verify patients insurance coverage and eligibility to ensure all collection activities comply with healthcare regulations and internal policies. - Review Explanation of Benefits and patient bills to correct errors in coding or billing medical lab claims. - Contacting insurance companies and patients for medical lab claims and fighting over claims on the phone with Insurance Representatives and Supervisors to ensure claim gets properly reprocessed. - Submitting Corrected Claims for medical lab claims to ensure patients claims are following the correct Insurance guidelines/policies
