Business Intelligence Consultant

• L2 Technical Support using IBM TM1 and Cognos Analytics application. • Act as a point of contact between the client and the application support center • Monitor jobs, production processes, systems availability, latency and overall system health • Create Incidents / Service Requests /Problem ticket and assign to teams • Create application incident reports • Analyze, identify issues, conduct investigation of functional/technical bugs, service failures, operational • problems and provide acceptable workaround or resolutions to identified issues/defects • Escalate further to L3 within a reasonable period with analysis and findings • Triage, resolve, and conduct RCA • Handle major incidents and joined SWAT calls

• Adept with IBM Cognos TM1, IBM TM1 Perspectives, and IBM TM1 Web • Knowledgeable in creating cubes and dimensions manually or by using IBM TM1 TurboIntegrator. • Knowledgeable in manipulating cubes and dimensions by using views and subset. • Adept with extracting and transforming data or another source file such as; plain text file, Microsoft Office (Excel and Access), existing cube, Microsoft SQL Server, and using it inside the IBM Cognos TM1. • Knowledgeable in performing arithmetic operations, overriding consolidations, using data to perform calculations through IBM TM1 Rules • Knowledgeable in performing advanced scripting and creating backup of entire database. • Knowledgeable in creating templates and charts through IBM TM1 Perspectives • Knowledgeable in controlling access to IBM TM1 objects (such as: cubes, dimensions, elements, process, and chores) by assigning levels of security in each object type. • Knowledgeable in managing security by organizing TM1 users into groups. • Basic knowledge in executing processes and creating a chore at definite intervals
