I have developed a strong interest in project management, particularly in overseeing multiple project sites and contributing to the continuous improvement of my department. My responsibilities include managing workers’ schedules, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Additionally, I take initiative in developing and implementing new methodologies, especially when introducing innovative materials or new skill sets, to enhance overall project performance and productivity.

As a designer, this is my primary software for developing and laying out proposed plans. It also enables me to present perspectives and rendered designs to clients, helping them clearly visualize the intended design of the unit to be constructed.

Canva is my primary software for both client and office presentations, whether they are informative, creative, or occasionally incorporate a touch of humor. I utilize its versatile design features and templates to create visually appealing and engaging content that effectively communicates ideas while maintaining a professional standard suited to the audience and purpose.

I primarily use AutoCAD to develop detailed as-built and proposed plans for residential and commercial units, ensuring accuracy, compliance with design standards, and alignment with client requirements. My work includes preparing comprehensive layout drawings, revising plans based on site conditions, and coordinating design details to support project execution.

On the assigned project, I utilized Microsoft Excel as a primary tool to support various project-related tasks. Specifically, I leveraged its functionalities for cost estimatio, enabling accurate budgeting and financial planning; material quantification, ensuring precise calculation and tracking of required resources; and project management, where I organized schedules, monitored progress, and maintained data records efficiently. Through the use of Excel’s formulas, data analysis features, and structured spreadsheets, I was able to enhance accuracy, streamline workflows, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of project execution.

I utilized Microsoft Word to prepare and manage essential project documentation. This included drafting the Certificate of Completion, formalizing project and subcontractor contracts, and organizing progress billing reports to ensure accurate and timely financial documentation. Additionally, Microsoft Word was used in the preparation of bidding submissions, where I compiled, formatted, and presented required documents in a clear, professional, and compliant manner. Its formatting and document management features helped ensure consistency, accuracy, and a high standard of presentation across all project records.

As part of my profession, cost estimating has become one of the core competencies I have developed throughout my working experience. It has played a significant role in shaping my growth as an engineer, enhancing my ability to analyze project requirements, evaluate costs accurately, and make informed decisions. Through continuous involvement in estimating, I have strengthened my attention to detail, financial awareness, and overall understanding of project planning and execution.

I primarily use Canva for creating visually engaging and modern presentation materials, taking advantage of its user-friendly design tools and wide range of templates. However, I continue to utilize Microsoft PowerPoint for client presentations, particularly when a more structured and formal format is required. This allows me to effectively communicate project details, proposals, and updates in a clear, professional, and organized manner while adapting to different presentation needs and client preferences.

I regularly use PlanSwift for quantifying and cost estimating tasks. Through this software, I am able to efficiently perform material takeoffs, generate accurate quantity measurements, and support detailed cost analysis. Its features allow me to streamline the estimating process, improve accuracy, and contribute to effective project budgeting and planning.

At present, my proficiency in ETabs is still developing. However, I am actively planning to attend seminars and workshops to further enhance my skills and gain a deeper understanding of the software. Through continuous learning and hands-on experience, I aim to improve my competency and effectively apply ETabs in future projects.
