Previously employed in a BPO Company called AHM Outsourcing Services Inc. as Records Retrieval Specialist for an American company known as Datafied that specializes in medical records retrieval and release of information for 3 years. As a Records Retrieval Specialist, my primary task is to send out requests for medical records to different facilities, clinics, or hospitals. It could be by way of using an online portal, faxing, or via email. Other tasks include invoice and medical records compilation, call back scheduling, actions documentation, and some quality assessment for records to be released as we not only request records, but we are also custodian of records for certain facilities.
We also maintained confidentiality of all medical records and sensitive information to comply with
HIPAA regulations. Enhanced patient care by accurately and efficiently retrieving medical records for
healthcare providers. Diligently tracked and reported metrics related to medical record retrieval efforts, providing
valuable insights into operational performance. Minimized risk exposure for the organization by conducting regular audits of stored records
and addressing any discrepancies found.
