Dear Sir/ Ma’am,
Having recently completed my degree in Psychology, I am currently looking for a role in Human Resources with a core interest in recruitment, training, and development along with the initiative to grow, learn, and adapt.
I went through training during my internship in the Recruitment office of the University of Perpetual Help-System Laguna, Philippines, as Assistant Recruitment Officer. I was given the opportunity to lead our team and create an online platform for the University’s job postings and announcements. Aside from that, I was also tasked to do the first screening process or initial interview of the new applicants.
During my internship, I was also accepted into an online tutoring service known as Coursehero for two years. Being a graduating college student at that time, the part-time tutoring job was challenging but it has enhanced my time management skills and ability to work under pressure. I also had the opportunity to connect with students around the globe and help them with their assignments in various subjects that were under my expertise such as social psychology and general psychology for example.
Adding up to the challenge of having a part-time job as a graduating college student, I also took up an examination conducted by the Human Resource Educators’ Association for the Philippines. I was able to pass the examination and was granted a certification as a Human Resource Associate Aside from the certification, I also graduated with a department-level academic excellence award.
I would like to assert that I am keen to gain knowledge and practical experience in all aspects of this job, be part of the company’s growth and be effective and productive in my assigned field.
