I am currently working for a California-based CPA firm since 2018 as the Tax and Accounting Manager, and we have a company setup in the Philippines that functions as a back-office for the US based CPA firm. I have used Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online and Intuit Lacerte for the past 7 years. I have experience on bank reconciliations, sales taxes, payroll taxes, tax return preparations, business license renewals, business property statements filings and 1099 preparations. I have also used Thomson Reuters Accounting CS for reconciliation and FS preparation, as well as tools like TValue Online and CMI Fixed Assets. Prior to 2018, I have worked 2 years for a California-based accounting software company, as an onboarding accountant focusing on setting up new clients with several years to catch up and setting up Chart of Accounts and beginning balances based on Tax Returns or Escrow agreements.
