About the Role

We're hiring for a Home Services Virtual Assistant to join the YSO team. If you love keeping a fast-moving small business organized and running smoothly (not just answering phones on autopilot), this is for you. You'll be the calm, trusted first point of contact for every caller, with real ownership over how our calendar and communication run day to day.

Role Requirements

• 2+ years working with clients from the United States, UK, Canada, or Australia
• At least 2 years of Admin experience, working in a remote environment.
• Must speak and write fluent English
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and other tools; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Reliable internet connection with a backup; ability to work scheduled remote hours consistently. (Minimum: Download Speed +20 MB / Upload Speed 5 MB)
• A Computer:
At least 8GB of RAM and an Intel Core 8th generation processor or higher, or AMD Ryzen 2000 series or higher
Operating system: Windows 11 or higher / macOS 13 or higher
Working camera and microphone

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming calls and texts throughout the business day on behalf of the client
• Qualify each caller quickly (confirming service area and job type) before booking
• Book confirmed jobs into the client's CRM/POS system (e.g., Square), using set appointment windows
• Send appointment confirmations and on-the-way texts to customers
• Distinguish between routine requests and true emergencies, escalating appropriately per documented guidelines
• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date calendar with zero missed or double-booked appointments
• Follow and help refine documented SOPs for how calls are handled, quoted, and booked
• Provide end-of-day updates on completed work and anything needing the client's attention
