JOB OVERVIEW

EIG Property Management is based in Minneapolis, MN. We manage 1,400 apartment rental units in the Twin Cities. We are seeking a full-time remote Executive Assistant to join our great team! You will support the company’s CEO, fulfilling many administrative and management responsibilities. This is a dynamic position that will rely on your organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking, reading, writing and communications skills.

The preferred candidate will be a go-getter, willing to work hard, learn new tasks, and be a dedicated and reliable team member. We are looking for one dedicated individual that can work 40-45 hours per week. Generally, the hours are Monday to Friday about 8AM to 430PM US Central, and would include some weekend work occasionally. We are not looking for an agency or someone working another job during our business hours.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and events.
- Organizing, drafting, sending, and responding to emails on behalf of the CEO.
- Prepare reports, presentations, agendas, and other materials.
- Proofread and edit documents before submission.
- Schedule, set up, and prepare for meetings.
- Take notes during meetings and distribute them as needed.
- Follow up on action items.
- Assist in managing projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Track progress on deliverables and provide updates.
- Act as a point of contact between the CEO and other executives, employees, clients, or stakeholders.
- Conduct research on specific topics.
- Provide summaries or recommendations for decision-making.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Assist with expense tracking
- Handle emergencies or last-minute changes to schedules or plans.
- Assist with personal matters.
- Draft internal memos, announcements, or other communications.
- Represent the CEO in internal discussions when appropriate.
- Help the CEO stay connected with team members by organizing town halls, feedback sessions, or celebrations.
- Support the CEO in fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Anticipate issues before they arise and provide proactive solutions.
- Identify ways to free up the CEO’s time for high-priority tasks.
- Gather and organize necessary information to assist the CEO in making decisions quickly and effectively.
- Take ownership of unique initiatives or projects assigned by the CEO.
- Keep the CEO informed about industry updates, new tools, or learning opportunities.

Job Requirements
- Excellent English speaking and writing ability.
- Technology Requirements: strong consistent internet and electricity, 2 screens, 10-key on your keyboard, headset.
- As this is a work-from-home setup, you must have a quiet working environment anytime you are clocked in for work.

Qualifications:
- Preferred 4-year university degree
- Extensive administrative experience
- Preferred experience with Google Workspace, particularly with Google Sheets and/or MS Excel,
