I have a degree in Accounting and is currently earning my Law degree. With that, I have a strong foundation in Bookkeeping and Case Management. I also have an experience in Real Estate Management where I earned knowledge in using tools such as Zillow for MLS and Propstream for preparing comparables. Furthermore, I have years of experience as a customer/technical support representative where I handled accounts that are all major telecommunications companies in the US namely Time Warner Cable, AT&T and Comcast. In Time Warner, I was a Billing Specialist where I handled various billing related tasks such as payment processing, billing inquiries, billing generation and billing disputes. Under AT&T and Comcast, I was trained to handle troubleshooting cable tv, high speed internet and voice over internet protocol (VOIP). I also learned from these companies how to upsell where I match the current plan of our customers to its needs. To achieve that, I learned how to gather data from our customers and customize their plans where they can maximize their subscription. I am a self-starter and is able to utilize resources available online to learn tools and processes. I am always reliable and I make sure I am able to give the money's worth of my clients. I am excited to be part of my clients growth and be able to build a good working relationship with them.
Experience: 5 - 10 years
I was an Administrative Officer for a public elementary school under the Department of Education here in the Philippines. I am primarily tasked to oversee the overall operation of the school which has a population of 400 students. What I do which relates to Accounting and Bookkeeping is to prepare the school's annual budget, prepare a procurement and implementation plan, submit monthly liquidation report and bank reconciliation and update the books of the school.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
I worked as an assistant to a virtual assistant who had multiple clients. I was tasked to various things from using Zillow, scheduling appointment, calendar management, preparing comparables through Propstream, cold calling and sometimes lead generation through the use of social media.
Experience: 2 - 5 years
I earned so much experience in customer handling after years of being under 3 telecommunications giants in the US: Time Warner Cable, AT&T and Comcast. I learned how to properly handle customers from all walks of life, learned the value of empathy, positive scripting, being courteous and first call resolution. Under Time Warner Cable, I was a billing specialist so most of the calls I get are frustrated customers who are either mad about the bill or asking for payment extension. I was trained to handle all types of scenarios, and I am glad that up to this day, I am still able to apply it in my daily life. Under AT&T and Comcast, I was trained to be an effective Technical Support Representative. Here, I learned the value of following the order of procedure especially when doing troubleshooting steps. I learned how to pacify customers who are frustrated of the crappy service they are getting. I also learned that resolution comes in many forms and sometimes, even if you are not able to resolve it on your first try, you can still do so by offering them other options and making them understand why such actions are needed to be taken. Overall, I learned in my stint with these two companies how to be effective in customer support while also being knowledgeable of the technical aspect of the job.
