By restructuring their QuickBooks setup, I created property-specific income statements and organized the chart of accounts to track income and expenses per location. This gave the owner a transparent view of each property’s performance, supporting more informed decision-making around renovations and other investments.

Assisted Senior Living Community (USA):
This client, an assisted senior living facility, asked me to migrate three years of financial data from spreadsheets into QuickBooks, with the goal of streamlining tax preparation and compliance. With a tight four-day deadline, I completed the migration, generating detailed financial statements acrossUpgrade to see actual info. Leveraging my knowledge of U.S. tax law, including recent changes to depreciation rules, I ensured accurate records, which highlighted their net losses and saved the facility from additional tax liabilities. This work helped sustain their operations, preserving both jobs and community support.

E-Commerce Client (US):
A third client, operating an e-commerce business in the US, faced discrepancies in income reporting across Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. After reconciling transactions between their bank and online platforms, I clarified their actual net income and generated accurate financial statements. This clarity helped them prepare for upcoming taxes and gave them a precise picture of cash flow.
