Worked as a Bookkeeper for Australian clients, mainly using Xero and QBO, and was awarded as top bookkeeper twice.
Tasks involved:
1. Bookkeeping and record-keeping
Bank reconciliation, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and recording and categorizing financial transactions
2. Payroll processing
Process payroll following Australian wage and tax laws
Ensure accurate calculation and timely remittance of payroll taxes and superannuation contributions.
3. Financial reporting
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate with external auditors if required.
4. Software proficiency
Utilize Australian accounting software platforms, such as QBO or Xero, to performday-to-day bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
Utilize Excel or Google Sheets to create various reports for clients and internal management purposes (e.g. variance reports, profit and loss, etc.)
5. Single-touch Payroll (STP) Finalization
6. End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) Review and Finalization of accounts
I am also willing to work outside the job responsibilities and hours agreed upon, if necessary.
