JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary

At Waste Solution Services, the Service Coordinator serves as the central hub for resolving day-to-day service issues, coordinating between Account Management, vendors/haulers, customers, and internal departments. The primary goal is to ensure client requests are handled quickly, accurately, and through to completion while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily service issues such as missed pickups, access problems, billing discrepancies, and service failures.
Investigate and resolve account issues, including incorrect service levels and mislinked accounts.
Track, update, and close service tickets within established timelines.
Serve as the primary contact for vendors and haulers regarding service-related concerns.
Coordinate service recoveries, schedule changes, and issue resolution with vendors.
Follow up proactively to ensure vendors complete requested actions.
Communicate directly with customers when appropriate, providing updates, timelines, and resolutions.
Collaborate with Account Management, Billing, Sales, and Onboarding teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Keep Account Managers informed with timely status updates, delays, and next steps.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in customer service, service coordination, operations, dispatch, logistics, or account support.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow through on tasks.
Experience using CRM or ticketing systems (such as Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, or similar) is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
