Our client is a growing commercial construction company delivering projects across the Greater Los Angeles area. They are looking for a highly organized Project Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and can keep projects moving by supporting project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

This is not an entry-level administrative position. We're looking for someone who understands construction project coordination, can confidently manage multiple priorities, and knows how to keep critical project information organized, documented, and moving forward.

What You'll Be Doing
Project Coordination & Operations
-Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project administration
-Assist with project setup, job kits, meeting minutes, and project documentation
-Coordinate communication between subcontractors, vendors, architects, clients, and internal teams
-Track outstanding items and proactively follow up to ensure deadlines are met
-Monitor project activities and help maintain workflow efficiency across multiple projects

Documentation & Project Controls
-Process, track, log, and distribute project submittals
-Assist with Requests for Information (RFIs), punch lists, change orders, and project correspondence
-Prepare and organize bid requests, subcontractor proposals, and addendum documentation
-Maintain accurate project records and correspondence files
-Support project closeout activities and coordinate closeout package documentation

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination
-Request and collect subcontractor bids and proposals
-Follow up on deliveries, project materials, and pending documentation
-Distribute plans, specifications, and project information to appropriate stakeholders
-Maintain professional communication with subcontractors, architects, consultants, and clients

What We're Looking For
Required Experience
-Previous experience supporting commercial construction projects
-Strong understanding of construction documentation and project workflows
-Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and project stakeholders
-Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
-Strong written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skills
-Procore (required)
-Bluebeam (required)
-Microsoft Excel
-Microsoft Word
-Microsoft Outlook
-Document management and project tracking systems

Nice-to-Have
-Degree, certification, or formal training related to Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
-Experience supporting commercial general contractors
-Familiarity with construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project closeout processes
