eCommerce Operations Assistant Wanted.
We are in need of a skilled eCommerce Operations Assistant who is highly organized, execution-focused, and systems-minded — someone who can serve as a dependable right hand to our eCommerce Project Manager and keep our fulfillment operations running smoothly.
This person will support our eCommerce Project Manager directly across order fulfillment, Shopify operations, inventory management, promotions support, and ongoing workflow systems.
Someone who can successfully complete all of the following responsibilities without the Project Manager having to follow up (to see if they were done correctly or done at all) or step in and do them themselves.
The eCommerce Operations Assistant Will:
1. Check and triage the Project Manager’s inbox, flagging what needs response, action, or review
2. Draft
3. Monitor Shopify orders and order holds in ShipHero, flagging any issues
4. Maintain and update Asana tasks and projects
5. Organize Google Drive files and folders
6. Surface items that require the Project Manager’s attention, decision, or approval
7. Prepare weekly meeting agendas, attend weekly planning meetings, take notes, and track action items with deadlines
8. Pull and input KPI data into reporting sheets monthly
9. Build discounts in Shopify and assist with promotions execution
10. Update product pages and draft new product listings in Shopify
11. Input purchase orders into ShipHero and maintain the inventory planning sheet
12. Maintain and update SOPs as workflows evolve
13. Use AI tools to improve systems, streamline processes, and build automation ideas
About the Role:
This is a fully remote part-time position requiring 20–25 hours per week to start, with the option to increase to full-time (35–40 hours).
Pay is $6–$7/hour depending on experience. There will be a two-month trial period on a graduated pay scale: you will start at $4.50–$5/hour and receive an additional $0.50/hour increase each month until reaching full pay once you successfully complete your probationary period. After a 6-month performance review, we will determine an increase in pay to $7–$8/hour.

Are You the Right Fit?
Ask yourself:
Are you exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple moving parts at once?
Are you strong at follow-through and not satisfied with tasks sitting unfinished?
Are you comfortable with recurring systems and routines, including checklists, SOPs, and repeatable workflows?
Do you thrive in spreadsheet-heavy environments and enjoy working with data and KPIs?
Are you experienced inside an eCommerce business (not just customer support)?
Are you confident using Shopify at an execution level?
Are you comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to improve workflows and efficiency?
If so, please read through the entire job announcement before applying.
