MUST HAVE CAR/ VEHICLE KNOWLEDGE* We are seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Virtual Customer Service Assistant to join our growing rental car company. This is a fully remote position focused strictly on customer support and communication. You will play a key role in assisting customers, answering questions, and helping manage rental inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support: Provide outstanding virtual customer service by responding to customer inquiries via phone, text,
Booking Assistance: Assist customers with new reservations, extensions, and general booking questions using our rental system.
Payment Support: Guide customers through payment processing, confirm payments, and escalate any failed or disputed payments to management.
Issue Resolution: Professionally handle customer concerns, complaints, and problems, escalating when necessary.
Account Updates: Update basic customer information, notes, and communication logs in the system.
Policy Communication: Clearly explain company policies, rental terms, late fees, and procedures to customers.
Escalation Protocol: Identify situations that require management approval and escalate promptly.
This position is strictly customer service only. No vehicle handling, fleet management, or scheduling.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service, call center, or virtual support required.
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Ability to follow scripts, policies, and procedures strictly.
Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience with CRM systems or booking software.
Bilingual (English + another language) is a plus.
Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate: $3/hour USD
Position Type: Independent Contractor (Remote)
Work Hours: Flexible based on business needs (may include evenings, weekends, and holidays)
