Responsibilities: Your primary focus will be on supporting driver and load operations, while assisting with administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
Driver Processing:
Maintain and organize driver records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with DOT and company regulations.
Manage driver onboarding processes, including background checks, compliance paperwork, and scheduling orientations.
Perform regular audits on driver files to ensure all necessary updates are completed on time.
Load Processing:
Assist in scheduling and tracking loads to ensure timely pick-up and delivery.
Communicate with drivers and dispatchers to confirm load details and resolve any discrepancies.
Ensure all load-related paperwork, including BOLs (Bills of Lading) and invoices, are properly recorded and filed.
Administrative Support:
Track and organize invoices and payments related to driver and load operations for timely processing.
Prepare reports on driver performance, load metrics, and compliance updates for the executive team.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, interviews, and appointments as needed.
Attend daily Zoo
Learning and Adaptability:
Actively participate in training sessions and follow detailed instructions to execute tasks effectively.
Learn company-specific tools and processes to support driver and load operations efficiently.
Take initiative to improve processes and provide insights on enhancing operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with the following qualifications:
Experience:
At least 2 years in an administrative or virtual assistant role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
Experience in driver or load processing is a plus but not mandatory.
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and basic spreadsheet management.
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Requirements:
AJG Currently has 2 shifts available:
1) Sunday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4 PM CST (Friday, 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM CST)
2) Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00 AM - 4 PM CST (Sunday, 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM CST)
