We are seeking an experienced contractor to join our team of Travel Operations Coordinators. The ideal candidate should possess meticulous attention to detail, adaptability, a knack for handling the unexpected with finesse, tech-savvy, and the capacity to multitask. Prior experience in the travel industry, especially with itinerary building and in GDS/Sabre is a plus.
COMPENSATION:
Training period (4-6 months): $5/hour + a monthly internet allowance
Post-training: $6/hour + a monthly internet allowance
WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with work hours overlapping European and U.S. business operations. A typical schedule is 9 PM to 5 AM Philippine local time but may change depending on the workload.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative support to Local Foreigner travel advisors in planning client trips.
Enter booking confirmations for invoicing.
Assist in gathering and formatting hotel rates.
Create, format, and update client travel documents, including itineraries, dining guides and activity guides.
Enter key information into Salesforce database, such as client feedback, supplier contacts, hotel services, restaurants, and more.
REQUIREMENTS:
Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful, with a strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and meeting deadlines.
Tech-savvy, proficient in MS Office. Salesforce, Jira, and Confluence experience is a plus.
Able to work independently with excellent written and verbal English Language communication skills.
Quick-learning, with the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the travel industry, especially understanding itinerary documents and industry processes. GDS/Sabre experience is a big plus.
