Background
Adale is a new eCommerce venture founded by US-based Omar Rada and Hong Kong-based Justin Kuok. Together, they have extensive experience starting, operating, and investing in commerce brands that have sold well over $250M+ USD at retail globally.
We’re currently exploring building a new eCommerce company in the health & wellness space, and are looking for exceptional early tea
Operations Role
We’re looking for an experienced operator to join us in a flexible, early-stage capacity to help validate and develop our next eCommerce company, likely in the supplements or broader wellness space. This is a hands-on, R&D and production-focused role. You’ll assess product feasibility, identify manufacturing partners, and help us understand the operational and financial implications of various products and ventures.
The right person needs to know their way around the supplement supply chain and be able to drive progress independently from idea to actionable plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Research & Evaluate Manufacturing Partners: Source and vet manufacturers for multiple concepts (focus on supplements) across the US and Asia (primarily China)
- Support Product Development: Explore what’s possible across form factors, formulations, and packaging, and help validate production options
- Assess Feasibility: Estimate costs, lead times, and margins to help us weigh tradeoffs across suppliers and models
- Lead Supplier Communication: Own day-to-day interactions with manufacturing partners to move projects forward
Required Experience
- Experience working for a U.S.-based eCommerce startup in the supplements or health/wellness space
- Direct experience working with U.S. and/or Chinese supplement manufacturers (ideally both)
- Fluent written and spoken English—you’ll lead supplier communication
- Proactive and resourceful—you figure things out without waiting for instructions
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on operations or product development experience within a US-based eCommerce supplement company (not just adjacent exposure)
- Operations experience working in an early-stage or startup US-based eCommerce environments
- Experience with non-supplement eCommerce operations and supply chains (e.g., sleep masks, wearables, other items)
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance requirements in supplement production
- Previous experience working remotely with U.S. or international teams
What We Offer
- Flexible engagement—part-time or full-time depending on your availability and fit
- Fully remote role
- Competitive compensation based on experience and availability
- A chance to get in early and grow with the business
- A no-BS team that values speed, transparency, and people who take the initiative
Final Note
We’re still early—but we’re moving fast. If you’re someone who gets excited by ambiguity, takes pride in making progress without needing a playbook, and wants to help shape something meaningful from the ground up, we’d love to talk!
