We are looking for a reliable, organised and intelligent Operations, Research & Admin Assistant to support a growing UK business remotely.
This is a varied role for someone who is comfortable with admin, customer support, research, spreadsheets, online systems and process improvement. The work will mainly involve helping with day-to-day business tasks, keeping information organised, researching options, following up on open issues, and helping create better systems as the business grows.
This role would suit someone who is detail-focused, good at written English, confident using online tools, and able to think through problems rather than only follow instructions.
Main responsibilities
You may help with tasks such as:
- Responding to customer messages using clear guidance and templates
- Tracking open issues and making sure tasks are followed up
- Helping with returns, cancellations, refunds and replacement requests
- Updating spreadsheets, task lists and internal records
- Checking online systems and reporting anything that needs attention
- Researching products, suppliers, competitors, services or business options
- Comparing prices, features, reviews and other useful information
- Preparing clear summaries so decisions can be made more easily
- Creating simple process notes, checklists and SOPs
- Improving templates, saved replies and internal documents
- Helping organise files, information and business admin
- Supporting other business projects as needed
The role may involve work across more than one business area, so we are looking for someone adaptable who can learn different processes over time.

- Creating SOPs or process documents
- Working remotely for a UK, US or Australian business
You do not need to know everything already. More important is that you are reliable, careful, organised and able to learn.
