We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Insurance Broker Assistant (VA) to support an Australian-registered Insurance Broker with day-to-day client and underwriting tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong insurance administration experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
* Role Overview
As our Insurance Broker Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients and underwriting partners. Your responsibilities include:
Core Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with policy renewals, endorsements, amendments, and claims for various insurance products.
2. Reviewing existing policies across different insurers and coordinating with the Underwriting Team for required updates.
3. Representing the broker in client-facing communication, including claim updates and policy change notifications.
4. Reviewing insurance policies, claims, and endorsements for accuracy and completeness before integrating them into the system.
5. Ensuring timely follow-ups and smooth workflow between clients, insurers, and the broker.
*What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience in insurance administration or broking support (AU insurance experience is a major advantage).
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documentation.
3. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
5. Professional, organized, and client-focused mindset.
