About EKD
Essential Kitchen Design is a digital-first kitchen design studio offering fully custom kitchen plans, elevations, and material specifications—all delivered online within 14 days. We work with homeowners, designers, and trade professionals to deliver streamlined, affordable, and highly visual design packages—entirely online.
Our mission is to make custom kitchen design more accessible, more educational, and more sustainable. We’re looking for a dedicated, organised, and tech-savvy Launch Coordinator to work directly with the founder to roll out and grow our digital kitchen design studio.
This is a full-time, hands-on role where you’ll be supporting the founder daily to manage timelines, coordinate contractors, test workflows, and ensure the launch of EKD runs smoothly. You’ll help turn ideas into action and keep everything moving behind the scenes.
As the business grows, this role will evolve into a broader Operations Manager position—continuing to support the founder in running the studio efficiently and at scale.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with the founder each day to manage the rollout of our 4-week launch plan
• Coordinate freelancers (designers, content writers, VAs, digital marketing support)
• Track all tasks, checklists, and deliverables related to launch
• Oversee customer experience systems—survey submissions, file handover, Stripe payments
• Test and troubleshoot automations using Typeform + Zapier
• Liaise with our digital marketing freelancer on campaign scheduling and delivery
• Maintain organised file systems in Google Drive and Shopify
• Use Notion to document tasks, systems, and workflows
• Prepare updates and assist in performance reviews as we track growth

Your Skills & Tools
• Confident with Zapier, Typeform, Stripe, Shopify, Notion, Google Workspace
• Extremely organised, calm under pressure, and great with detail
• Comfortable juggling digital tools and solving small tech problems
• Excellent communicator—especially in remote or async environments
• A natural coordinator who takes initiative and follows through

Role Growth
You’ll begin by supporting the founder directly through launch and into early operations. From there, your role will grow into an Operations Manager position, helping build and manage workflows, delivery systems, and internal support as the studio scales.

• Hourly rate based on experience
