**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated legal assistant to join our dynamic team and support our immigration law practice. This is a fulltime position from Monday-Friday 9AM to 5PM U.S. Central Standard time.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to immigration petitions, real estate transactions, contracts, and agreements.
2. Conduct legal research and analysis on immigration and real estate laws, regulations, and precedents.
3. Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation.
4. Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks and compliance with legal requirements.
5. Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, attorneys, and tea
6. Assist in preparing and filing applications, petitions, and forms with relevant authorities.
7. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive client information and legal matters.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
1. Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review
2. Experience working as a legal assistant or paralegal in immigration law and/or real estate practice (preferred)
3. Strong analytical thinking and issue resolution skill
4. Proficiency in legal research and general research
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
7. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
8. Strong knowledge of immigration laws, procedures, and forms (e.g., USCIS forms, visa applications, petitions). (preferred)
9. Ability to follow directions and also take initiative
10. Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
**Compensation**
Starting salary $550 + /month
