Purpose:
The Human Resources Assistant provides confidential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Human Resources Department. This role is responsible for preparing correspondence, reports, and departmental documentation; maintaining accurate records and filing systems; assisting with onboarding activities; and supporting inquiries through the department’s ticketing system.

• Engages and communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with the Talent Management team to support employees and deliver HR solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HR policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain confidential electronic employee records, personnel files, and HRIS databases with accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and process HR documents, including offer letters, status change forms, and termination paperwork.
• Support onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring new hires receive required materials, system access, and training schedules.
• Respond to employee questions and requests submitted through the HR/Payroll ticketing systems, assigning tickets, and escalating issues to the appropriate tea
• Partners with talent tea
• Generate reports from HRIS and other systems to support audits, compliance, and departmental metrics.
• Serves as administrative support to the safety committee, ensuring safety documentation, calendars and presentations are maintained with accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in special projects, process improvements, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must possess the ability to focus on repetitive tasks for extended periods with high accuracy.
• Effective communication, oral and written.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employment, personnel, and financial matters.
• Manage and assist with multiple, on-going, and high priority assignments at the same time.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of Human Resources or administrative experience.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Preferred experience using HRIS or ERP Systems.
*PC Preferred.
