About the Role
Gold Side Agency is looking for a driven, sharp and self-directed Chief Operating Officer to join our team. We are a lead generation agency that delivers exclusive, pre-qualified estimates to contractors across the U.S. — concrete, coatings and remodeling. We run paid ads on Meta, manage full client fulfillment and are scaling aggressively.
The CEO owns the vision. The COO owns everything it takes to execute it.
This is not a task-taker role. We need someone who thinks on their feet, spots what needs to be done before being told, comes up with ideas on the spot and brings them to the CEO for a green light before applying them. The best COO doesn't wait for instructions — they identify the problem, build the solution and present it. The CEO approves, the COO executes. If something is broken you fix it. If something is inefficient you improve it. If something is missing you build it.
What You'll Own
Executing the vision — Taking the CEO's direction and turning it into a clear operational plan with systems, timelines and accountability
Overseeing client fulfillment — Managing ad account performance inside Meta Ads Manager, GoHighLevel automations, client pipelines and lead follow-up end to end
Building and managing SOPs — Every process in this business needs to be documented clearly enough that any new hire can follow it from day one. You build those, maintain them and improve them constantly
Managing the team — As we grow you will oversee hires, onboard them into our systems and hold them accountable to output
Monitoring performance — Tracking KPIs across ad accounts and client fulfillment, identifying what's underperforming and actioning it immediately using our troubleshooting process
Reducing operational risk — Catching problems before they become client problems. Proactive, not reactive
Daily closed-loop reporting — Every task has a status. Every instruction gets acknowledged. Nothing falls through the cracks
Who We're Looking For
Someone who takes full ownership — if it's in the operation, it's your responsibility
Thinks on their feet and doesn't wait to be told what to do — spots problems, builds solutions and presents them to the CEO for approval before executing
Proficient in GoHighLevel — workflows, automations, pipelines, sub-accounts
Proficient in Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager — can read performance data and take action
Builds SOPs naturally — clear, simple, no fluff, easy for anyone to follow
Responds to instructions immediately during work hours — not hours later, not in the EOD report
Communicates directly and proactively — flags problems the
