Creative Assistant / Video Editor

About The Role:
I am looking for a creative and detail-oriented assistant to become a key part of our content creation workflows. You will work directly with me to edit videos, design graphics, and help manage the production of content that helps our brands.

Your work will directly free up my time, allowing me to focus on higher-level marketing objectives. We will work closely together: I will often start a concept or design, and you will continue working on it until I return to help with any hurdles and finalize the last 10-15%.

What You'll Do:
• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final videos using Descript.
• Create graphics, thumbnails, and other visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
• Organize ideas and project plans on a Miro digital whiteboard.
• Repurpose existing content (e.g., turning a long video into short social clips).
• Help manage and organize our library of video files, project files, and creative assets. (Google Drive)
• Assist with publishing and scheduling content on various platforms. (Facebook, WordPress)
• Perform tasks related to content creation, and production workflows.
• Take partially completed video edits or graphic designs and move them closer to completion.
• Prepare and organize project working files for final review and polishing.

• A strong, clear communicator: You aren't afraid to ask questions to ensure you understand the task and can provide clear updates.
• Coachable: You enjoy learning and are motivated to find solutions from our extensive knowledge base of assets on your own before asking me for additional help.

• Raindrop

When applying, confirm that the pay of $500 a month is acceptable for 40 hours a week. Also confirm that you can work Monday through Friday 9am CST to 5pm CST.
