About the Role

We are a growing international freight forwarding company specialising in sea freight, air freight, customs brokerage, and transport solutions.

We are looking for an experienced CargoWise Operations Co-ordinator to support our expanding freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate will already understand international freight and logistics and be highly experienced using CargoWise in a day-to-day operational environment.

High attention to detail is essential, as you will be supporting freight administration, updating systems, managing operational tasks, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date. You will work closely with our team, follow structured processes, and help contribute to smooth day-to-day operations.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, disciplined, proactive, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work as part of a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities
• Register and create shipments within CargoWise.
• Create and manage consolidations (consols) for sea and air freight shipments.
• Create and manage transport jobs and customs brokerage jobs.
• Upload, manage, and eDoc shipping documentation within CargoWise.
• Monitor and track shipments from origin through to delivery.
• Update shipment milestones and maintain accurate job records.
• Process supplier invoices and post charges accurately within CargoWise.
• Assist with arrival notices, pre-alerts, and shipment status updates.
• Ensure all operational data is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support the operations team with administrative and freight forwarding tasks.

Essential Requirements
• Experience working in a freight forwarding company.
• Strong hands-on experience / working knowledge of CargoWise One (CW1) is mandatory.
• Experience creating and managing sea freight and/or air freight shipments.
• Experience with customs brokerage and transport job creation.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Understanding of freight forwarding documentation, including:
o Bills of Lading
o Commercial Invoices
o Packing Lists
o Arrival Notices
o Delivery Orders

Skills Required
• Strong computer literacy and confidence using multiple systems
• High level organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Reliable, disciplined, and proactive work ethic
• High attention to detail and data accuracy in system work
• Ability to work effectively with international teams

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Australian freight forwarding operations.
• Knowledge of customs and transport processes.
• Experience posting invoices and managing shipment financials in CargoWise.
• Experience working with overseas agents and shipping lines.
• Experience with End to End international shipping operations (imports & exports)
