We are a small but ambitious, woman-owned health and beauty business specializing in treating pain conditions through acupuncture, massage therapy, and other alternative healing modalities. Recently, we've expanded to offer holistic skincare, helping people achieve health and wellness from the inside out. We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Operations Manager who is passionate about supporting businesses that positively impact the community. This key role will help us stabilize operations, grow sustainably, and reach more people who can benefit from our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy & Operations: Oversee business operations to help us meet profitability goals. Identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and streamline operations to increase revenue and control costs. This role requires someone with both strategic management experience and a willingness to jump into day-to-day operations, including customer service and administrative support. While you'll be overseeing growth and team development, you'll also play an active part in our daily operations, stepping in to handle appointment scheduling, answering calls, and learning all processes to train future staff.

Team Leadership & Management:

Lead, manage, and develop a team of employees. Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide support where needed to maintain productivity and morale. As our company grows, this role will evolve, and you'll have the opportunity to take on more strategic oversight, focusing more on growth and less on day-to-day operations. Your input will shape the future structure of the business.

Recruitment, Onboarding, & Training: Manage the hiring process, from recruiting to onboarding new team members. Ensure new hires receive the training and resources they need to succeed and contribute to the company’s growth.

Cross-Department Support: Assist in the execution of marketing strategies (such as social media), ensuring the team is aligned with growth-focused objectives.

Process Improvement: Analyze and learn our existing processes and suggest improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and overall team productivity.

Required Skills & Experience:

Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing and leading a team. Must be comfortable in a hands-on role that requires mentoring and performance management.

Business Management: Experience in overseeing daily operations, improving profitability, and developing strategies for business growth.

Strong Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to juggle multiple priorities, implement effective systems, and problem-solve creatively to meet business goals.

Recruitment & Training: Experience in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.

Resourcefulness & Cost Awareness: Ability to work with limited resources, optimize team productivity, and make strategic decisions for cost-effective growth.

Preferred Skills:

Social Media & Marketing Strategy: Experience with social media management, developing marketing strategies, and building brand presence.

Branding Knowledge: Understanding of branding and how it integrates with overall business strategy and growth efforts.
