For the past three years, I have worked in an academic environment where I teach core Civil Engineering subjects, including Building Systems Design, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics, Geotechnical and Foundation Engineering, Reinforced Concrete and Steel Design, and Construction Estimating. Before and during my time in academia, including my undergraduate studies and internship, I gained hands-on experience and proficiency in STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and cost estimation, along with a solid understanding of construction processes and technical documentation.
At this stage of my career, I am eager to transition into a Construction Virtual Assistant role, where I can support project managers, contractors, and construction teams through efficient administrative assistance, project coordination, documentation management, and technical support.

My experience in construction estimating primarily involves quantity takeoff, material costing, and preparation of construction estimates. During my undergraduate studies and internship, I was involved in preparing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for a residential project based on architectural and structural plans. In academia, I also regularly guide Civil Engineering students in performing quantity takeoffs and preparing construction estimates for their thesis and research projects. Through these experiences, I have developed a solid understanding of construction materials, project quantities, and the process of translating technical drawings into accurate cost estimates.

My experience with STAAD.Pro is primarily focused on structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures. During my undergraduate studies and internship, I gained experience in developing structural models, analyzing structural behavior, and interpreting analysis results as part of a residential project and academic requirements. In academia, I also use my knowledge of STAAD.Pro to guide Civil Engineering students in understanding structural analysis and design concepts.
