I am Danella Angeli Medes, 26 y.o I have over three years of combined experience in external audit and accounting. I started my career with EY Philippines (SGV & Co). as an Audit Associate for 1.5 years where I performed risk assessments, walkthroughs, internal control testing, substantive procedures, and financial statement audits across various clients.
After that, I joined Inspired PHL Corp as a General Accountant, where I gained hands-on experience in the preparation of financial records, payroll, taxation, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end closing activities. This gave me a deeper understanding of accounting processes end to end.
Previously, and my recent role I work as a Senior Auditor and my key responsibilities is to supervise audit from planning to completion, review audit work, review financial statements, and coordinate directly with clients and managers.
As your Accountant/Auditor I would love to help you with:

* Plan, coordinate, and execute external audit engagements from planning through to completion* Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored audit strategies and programs* Ensure audit engagements are completed within budget and allocated timelines* Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit documentation* Identify key audit risks, control deficiencies, and accounting issues* Perform analytical reviews and substantive testing procedures* Evaluate internal controls and recommend process improvements to clients* Assist managers and partners with engagement planning, reporting, and finalisation.


Journal Recording:
Accurately record all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments, into the appropriate accounting software or ledgers.

Bank Reconciliation:
Regularly compare the company’s financial records against bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Monthly Financial Reports:
Prepare summaries of the business's financial position, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to provide insights into financial performance.

Accounts Receivable Management:
Generate and send invoices to clients, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.

Accounts Payable Management:
Verify supplier invoices for accuracy and process payments to ensure timely settlement of debts.

Payroll Processing:
Calculate employee wages, deductions, and ensure timely payroll disbursement while complying with tax regulations.

Tax Compliance:
Prepare personal and corporate income tax returns along with other related tax documentation.

Client Support:
Assist you with financial reporting and budgeting processes while providing insights into your financial health.

Collaboration:
Work closely with your team (if applicable) to ensure that financial records align with auditing standards during client engagements.
