`WordPress / BuddyBoss + LearnDash Developer (Part-Time): LMS Build

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're an online education company building a student portal (LMS). This is primarily an integration project. We're looking for someone who has solved real LMS integration problems, not just installed plugins. Front-loaded (about one month to build), then light maintenance.

THE STACK (already d ---------- )
- WordPress (managed hosting)
- BuddyBoss (community + student experience)
- LearnDash (lessons, quizzes, assignments, grading, certificates)
- Kartra for payment + access, connected via Zapier (our automation person handles the Zapier side)
- Bunny Stream + Presto Player for course video

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD
Stand up WordPress + BuddyBoss + LearnDash, wire Bunny/Presto video, coordinate the Kartra > enrollment automation, build one full sample course end to end, then help populate content. You'll own the LMS build from staging through launch and ensure all integrations work reliably.

MUST HAVE (in priority order)
- BuddyBoss and LMS experience such as LearnDash (with links)
- Membership/payment integration experience (connecting a checkout tool to WordPress access)
- Strong PHP/WordPress development, not just page-building
- Clear, responsive English

TECHNICAL EXPECTATIONS
- Git & staging workflows
- Custom PHP when plugins aren't enough
- Plugin debugging
- WordPress performance optimization
- Nice to have: Bunny/Presto or other course video setups

HOW WE WORK
We value proactive communication. Raise risks early instead of discovering them at launch. Must overlap a few hours with US Eastern time.
