About the Role
Duck Weed is looking for a proactive and confident Virtual Sales Development Representative (MSP) to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll be supporting one of our Australian clients—a well-established technology services provider—by helping generate new business opportunities and supporting their sales efforts.

About the Client
You'll be supporting an Australian Managed Services Provider (MSP) that helps businesses improve the way they connect, communicate and protect their operations.
Their services include managed IT, cyber security, business internet, cloud phone systems, networking, and modern workplace technology. They work closely with small and medium-sized businesses, helping them build reliable, secure and scalable technology environments.
As they continue to grow, you'll play an important role in identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients and helping build a healthy sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
Sales Development
Research Australian businesses that fit our target market
Build and maintain prospect databases
Identify key decision makers within organisations
Conduct lead generation and data scraping activities
Send personalised business development
Follow up
Qualify opportunities before handing them to the sales team
Book appointments for the Australian sales team
Support ongoing outbound sales campaigns
CRM & Administration
Maintain accurate records within ConnectWise
Update customer and prospect information
Keep CRM data clean and organised
Record communication history and sales activity
Assist with reporting on outreach campaigns
Support sales administration and process improvements
Essential Requirements
Excellent written and spoken English
Previous experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation or Appointment Setting
Experience supporting Australian businesses
Experience using ConnectWise
Experience using Microsoft 365
Experience using Xero
Strong written communication skills
High attention to detail
Excellent research and organisational skills
Ability to work independently
Reliable and trustworthy
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Preferred (Not Essential)
Previous experience working within an MSP or IT company
Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting
Experience with
