JOB OVERVIEW

# Video Editor & Website Coordinator
**Modern Conducting Academy** | Part-Time, Remote (Philippines-based preferred)

**Pay:** $8-10/hour, based on experience
**Hours:** 10 hrs/week to start, with potential to grow to 15 hrs/week after the trial period
**Start:** Paid trial period to confirm fit and quality before an ongoing arrangement

## About the Role

Modern Conducting Academy is looking for a detail-oriented, creative Video Editor & Website Coordinator to manage the editing, publishing, and graphics production for our masterclass video library. This is a hands-on production role for someone who can take raw footage all the way to a finished, published piece of content, twice a month, without much hand-holding.

You'll be the person behind the scenes making sure every masterclass looks polished and is easy to find on our platform.

We're starting this role at 10 hours/week. Depending on how the trial period goes and how the workload plays out in practice, there's real potential to grow into 15 hours/week — including the possibility of adding social media responsibilities down the line.

## What You'll Do

**Video Editing**
- Edit masterclass recordings and craft polished video introductions for each one
- Cut short clips from full-length masterclasses, ready for future use in social or promotional content

**Publishing & Website**
- Upload finished masterclasses to our Kajabi hosting platform
- Build a new course/class page on the website twice a month for each new masterclass release
- Keep existing website content current and accurate

**Graphics**
- Design graphics for video introductions and thumbnails

## What We're Looking For

- Fluent English speaker (required) — you'll be writing page copy and video text, so this is non-negotiable
- Strong writing skills — clear, engaging, and typo-free
- Solid video editing skills and comfort with editing software (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Kajabi, or the ability to learn a hosting/course platform quickly
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
- Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable owning a recurring production schedule
- A background or genuine interest in music is a plus, not a requirement — it'll help you understand the content you're editing

## Good Fit If You

- Have experience as a video editor, content producer, or web content coordinator (comparable titles include Video Editor, Digital Content Coordinator, or Video Production Assistant)
- Like structure and recurring deadlines (twice-monthly release cadence)
- Take pride in clean, professional-looking final product — no rough edges

## How to Apply

Please submit the following:
- Your name, business name (if applicable), and contact information (email and phone)
- A brief note on your relevant experience
- Portfolio or reel link (video editing examples)
- **3 professional references**, with name, relationship to you, and contact information for each

## Logistics

- Remote, Philippines-based preferred
- 10 hrs/week to start, with room to grow to 15 hrs/week
- $8-10/hour, based on experience
- Trial period required before ongoing engagement, to confirm fit and quality of work
- Twice-monthly deliverable cycle (masterclass edit + intro + clips + graphics + new website page, per release)
