Video Editor (Remote)

Storymade Media is looking for a talented Video Editor to join our growing team in a long-term, full-time remote position.

We're looking for an editor who is passionate about storytelling, takes pride in producing high-quality work and is eager to grow with a creative Australian video production company.

We create high-quality corporate videos that help businesses build trust through authentic storytelling. Our projects include client testimonials, brand videos, educational content, event highlights and social media content for businesses across a range of industries.

As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for an editor who can consistently deliver polished, engaging content while maintaining a high standard of quality.

About the role:

You'll receive professionally organised project folders containing interview footage, b-roll, audio and project notes.

Typical editing tasks include:

- Interview editing and story development
- Creative b-roll selection
- Music selection
- Sound design and audio clean-up
- Colour correction and grading
- Titles and basic motion graphics
- Social media exports where required

Most projects range from 60-second social videos through to 2-3 minute corporate films.

We're looking for someone who has:

- Excellent storytelling ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Great pacing and editing instincts
- Professional colour grading skills
- High-quality audio editing
- Excellent English communication
- Reliable turnaround times
- Experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred)

Bonus skills:

- Basic skills in DaVinci Resolve
- Basic skills in Adobe After Effects
- Corporate video editing experience
- Documentary-style editing experience

The assessment reflects the type of work you'll be completing for Storymade Media and allows us to evaluate your storytelling, editing style and technical ability.

Final remuneration will be based on experience, portfolio and paid editing assessment. We're looking to build a long-term relationship with the right editor and look forward to seeing your work.
