Video Editor (Davinci Resolve)

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a part-time basis. As an editor, you will primarily work on short-form reels/ads (30-60 seconds) and long-form talking-head or two-camera interview commercial videos. Your work will include integrating music, sound effects, captions, B-roll, and graphics to craft high-quality, engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form and long-form video content similar to the following examples:

Ensure all edits are organized and aligned with brand standards.
Manage files efficiently and maintain a structured workflow.
Handle color grading in DaVinci Resolve.
Sync and work with Dropbox/Google Drive for downloading and uploading large files.

Requirements

Proficient in both written and spoken English.
Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
Strong organizational skills and file management expertise.
Fast communication and honesty about turnaround times.
Attention to detail and comfort with DaVinci Resolve’s color grading suite.
High-speed internet for handling massive file uploads and downloads.
Ability to sync Dropbox to Windows or Mac systems.
Additional Details

Hours: 30-40 hours per week to start.

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and quality of work.
