Video Editor

We’re looking for a Video Editor to join our YouTube team and edit documentary-style long-form videos.

Responsibilities

* Edit long-form YouTube videos following the provided style reference.
* Create engaging edits using clean cuts, smooth transitions, music, sound effects, stock footage, and supporting visuals.
* Maintain strong pacing and viewer retention throughout the video.
* Implement feedback and deliver projects on time.

Requirements

* Experience editing YouTube videos.
* Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
* Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
* Good written English.
* Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines.
* Available 5 days per week.
* Portfolio or previous work is required.

Compensation

* $2 per finished minute of video.
* Rate reviews and increases are possible as the channels grow.
