UI / UX Developer

We are seeking a UX-focused Lead Developer to take ownership of the user interface and front-end experience across our application. This month-to-month contractual role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building intuitive, high-performance user experiences and enjoys working across both design implementation and application logic.
You will play a key role in shaping how users interact with core product flows, with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and seamless customer journeys—especially within critical areas such as checkout flows and other high-impact UI components.

Key Responsibilities
Lead development of user-facing features with a strong emphasis on UX and UI quality
Design, build, and optimize front-end components and user journeys across web applications
Own and improve key application flows (e.g., checkout, onboarding, transaction workflows)
Collaborate with backend developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and user experience consistency
Translate product and UX requirements into functional, elegant, and scalable interfaces
Continuously improve UI performance, responsiveness, and usability

Qualifications
Required
Must be fluent in english
must be willing to work some US Hours Central Standard time
3-5 years of UI/UX-focused web and application development experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Proven focus on front-end development and user interface implementation
Experience building and optimizing complex UI flows and user journeys
Strong experience with Expo framework & React Native across web, Android, and iOS
Deep understanding of UX principles and best practices
