JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced Software Architect / Technical Architect to work with our development team on client projects.

The architect will join client meetings to understand business and technical requirements, translate those requirements into clear software architecture and technical direction, guide the development team during implementation, and review their work to ensure it follows the agreed architecture and satisfies the client’s requirements.

The role includes:

- Joining client meetings to gather and clarify requirements
- Translating business requirements into software architecture and technical specifications
- Designing scalable, secure, maintainable, and reliable systems
- Guiding developers and reviewing architecture, implementation decisions, and code quality
- Defining coding standards, development patterns, review processes, and quality gates
- Reviewing databases, APIs, integrations, security controls, performance, and reliability
- Preparing architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation guidance
- Evaluating technical trade-offs and clearly explaining recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Reviewing CI/CD pipelines, deployment environments, monitoring, backup, rollback, and disaster-recovery plans
- Assessing expected workloads and recommending suitable infrastructure sizing and topology for both cloud and on-premises deployments
- Ensuring the completed work remains aligned with the client’s requirements and the agreed architecture

This is a client-facing technical leadership role. It is not a purely advisory position, a project-management-only role, or a hands-on system administrator role.

We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Part-time candidates must be available during our working hours when required and must be able to attend scheduled internal and client meetings. The agreed schedule should allow consistent participation throughout the project rather than only independent work outside our working hours.

When applying, please include:

- Your CV
- Your availability and preferred working schedule
- Examples of systems or projects you have architected
- A brief explanation of your responsibilities in those projects
- Any architecture diagrams or technical documentation you are able to share
- If applying full-time, your expected monthly salary
- If applying part-time, your expected hourly rate based on being available during our working hours and for scheduled internal and client meetings
