Sales Development Representative (Paper Cores & Packaging)
Position Summary

U-Pack LLC is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and engage manufacturers that use paper cores, corrugated boxes, and related packaging products. The primary responsibility is to generate qualified sales opportunities by researching prospects, identifying decision-makers, conducting outreach, and scheduling appointments for the sales team.

This is a results-driven position focused on building a predictable pipeline of new customers with recurring purchasing needs.

Key Responsibilities.....
Lead Generation & Research
Identify and research companies that use paper cores and packaging products.

Target industries including:
Stretch film manufacturers
Plastic film producers
Plastic bag manufacturers
Label manufacturers
Tape manufacturers
Textile companies
Paper converters
Nonwoven manufacturers
Printing companies
Packaging companies

Build and maintain prospect databases.

Prospect Qualification

Gather and document:

Current supplier
Core ID
Core wall thickness
Core length
Monthly usage volume
Delivery location
Lead time requirements
Current purchasing challenges
Outbound Sales Activities
Conduct cold calling and email outreach.
Follow up with prospects.
Connect with decision-makers including:
Purchasing Managers
Procurement Specialists
Plant Managers
Operations Managers
Supply Chain Managers
Schedule appointments and product presentations.
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate prospect records.
Track outreach activities and results.
Submit weekly sales activity reports.
Provide market intelligence and customer feedback.
Required Skills
Experience in B2B lead generation, sales development, or appointment setting.
Strong internet research skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Experience using LinkedIn, Google, and CRM systems.
Self-motivated and organized.
Ability to work independently.

Weekly KPI Expectations
Research 100–200 new prospects
Identify 50–100 qualified decision-makers
Send 200–300 targeted emails
Make 30–50 outbound calls
Generate 3–5 qualified opportunities
Secure 1–3 sample requests
Schedule 1–2 appointments per week
Compensation
Hourly rate plus performance bonus.
Additional incentives for:

New customer acquisitions
Success Measurement

Success will be measured by:

Qualified opportunities generated
Sample requests obtained
Appointments scheduled
Quotations requested
New customers acquired
Revenue generated from new accounts

Base Pay: $5/hour
Bonus:
$15 per qualified appointment
$10 per sample request
$75 for a new customer's first order
$150 if the first order exceeds $5,000
