QA Tester

Role Title: Offshore QA Tester

Location: Offshore (with required overlap to U.S. Mountain/Central hours)

Reports To: QA Lead, with oversight from Product Manager and Technical Leads

Role Summary:

We are seeking an Offshore QA Tester to execute manual and regression testing across our multi-tenant SaaS platform. This role involves validating functionality, documenting reproducible issues, performing data integrity checks, and supporting QA documentation throughout our sprint and release cycles.

Candidates must bring strong manual QA skills, solid automation experience (in any tool), and the ability to ramp quickly into Cypress.

Responsibilities:

Execute manual and regression test cases across Regional and Hub tenants

Log reproducible bugs with clear, detailed documentation

Validate data integrity across Postgres (pgAdmin) and MongoDB

Re-test fixed tickets and maintain regression logs

Support QA documentation and provide test evidence

Participate in daily QA syncs and provide async updates

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases

Required Skills & Tools:

2–4 years of experience in QA or software testing

Strong manual and regression testing experience for SaaS platforms

Hands-on experience with at least one QA automation tool (mandatory)

Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, Katalon, etc.

Experience with:

ClickUp (or similar QA/ticketing tools)

Google Sheets for test data and reporting

Mailtrap (or similar email testing tools)

Postgres (pgAdmin) and MongoDB for data validation

Chrome DevTools for debugging and validation

Strong written and verbal English communication

High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency

Automation Expectations:

Familiarity with automation concepts: selectors, assertions, test structure, debugging

Ability to read, understand, and run automated tests

Ability to contribute to an existing regression automation suite

Willingness and ability to learn Cypress quickly during onboarding

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to Laravel, Vue.js, REST APIs, Postman

Experience testing multi-tenant SaaS systems

Understanding of compliance or data-sensitive environments

Success Metrics:

High-quality test execution and reproducible bug reporting

Timely completion of regression cycles

Clear test summaries and documentation

Reduction in missed defects during UAT

Proactive communication and collaboration with QA, Product, and Engineering
