About the Role:
We are a growing portfolio of online media brands serving engaged audiences across meaningful niches including mental health, personal development, and wellness. Our digital newsletters reach hundreds of thousands of readers daily, delivering valuable content that helps people live better lives.
We're looking for a natural-born conversationalist to become an on-camera face of our brand. You'll
interview experts across different niches — hosting podcasts, online events, and video content that people
actually want to watch.
This isn't a read-the-teleprompter gig. You'll research every guest deeply before you sit down with them,
ask the questions their audience wishes someone would ask, listen actively, and steer conversations to
the most interesting places. The camera should feel like your natural habitat, and talking to strangers
should energize you rather than drain you.
If you're the person who can strike up a genuine conversation with anyone, who gets curious about other
people's expertise, and who lights up when the recording starts — this role was written for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Host and conduct on-camera interviews with experts across different niches — podcasts, video
interviews, and online events
• Research each guest thoroughly before the interview: their background, work, opinions, and recent
activity — and prepare a question flow that goes beyond the obvious
• Lead engaging, natural conversations: active listening, smart follow-up questions, and the ability to
redirect when a conversation drifts
• Present and host live online events (webinars, panels, Q&A sessions) with confidence and energy
• Collaborate with our content team to shape interviews into engaging content — knowing what makes
a clippable
• Represent the brand professionally on camera at all times: appearance, communication, and conduct
• Continuously improve your craft: reviewing your own footage, refining your interviewing style, and
studying great interviewers
Requirements:
• Proven experience in front of the camera: creating videos, hosting online events, running podcasts or
conducting interviews — you'll show us footage, not just tell us about it
• A natural extrovert and conversationalist — you genuinely enjoy talking to people and it shows on
screen
• Zero camera shyness: comfortable on live streams, recorded video, and in front of audiences
• Strong research skills — able to independently prepare for an interview with an expert in a field you
knew nothing about last week
• An instinct for engaging content: you understand pacing, hooks, and what keeps viewers watching
• Fluent English — clear, confident, and articulate on camera• Presentable and professional at all times: grooming, wardrobe, background, lighting, and demeanor
on every recording
Nice to Have:
• Basic video/audio production knowledge (framing, mic technique, recording setup) so remote
recordings look and sound professional
• Experience growing an audience on YouTube, a podcast platform, or social media
• Experience coordinating with guests: scheduling, prep calls, and making experts feel comfortable
before recording
Who This Role Is NOT For:
• People who freeze, stiffen, or script every word when the camera turns on
• Presenters who talk more than they listen — great interviews are about the guest
• Anyone unwilling to put in the research hours before each interview — winging it shows
