Cold Caller / Appointment Setter (B2B Outbound) — Part-Time, Long-Term
I run two businesses based in Ontario, Canada, and I'm hiring one reliable
cold caller to make outbound calls for both. This is a long-term, part-time
role for someone confident on the phone who can handle rejection and wants
to earn real bonuses on top of base pay.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll make outbound calls to local service businesses (plumbers, HVAC,
electricians, roofers, salons, etc.) in Canada, 5 hours a day:
- 2.5 hrs/day for Avidra (
callers back in seconds so businesses stop losing leads. You'll call
owners, point out how many leads a missed call costs them, and book a free
trial/demo.
- 2.5 hrs/day for Ostra Studio (ostra.studio) — custom websites for local
businesses, live in 7 days. You'll call businesses with a weak or missing
website and book a free 10-minute call.
Your job is to open the door: spark interest and book a qualified
appointment. You don't have to close — just set the meeting.
SCHEDULE
- 5 hours/day, 5 days/week (25 hours/week)
- Aligned to Canada Eastern Time business hours (exact window shared on hire)
- Long-term — I want someone to grow with both businesses
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent spoken English with a clear, friendly, neutral phone voice (this
is the #1 thing)
- Cold calling / telemarketing / appointment-setting experience strongly
preferred
- Resilient and consistent — you can hear "no" and keep dialing
- Reliable computer, stable internet, a headset, and a quiet place to call
- Comfortable logging calls and outcomes in a simple spreadsheet/CRM
PAY + BONUSES
- Base: $3 USD/hour
- Booking bonus: $4 USD for every qualified appointment that shows up
- Closing bonus: $20 USD for every business that becomes a paying customer
- Raises and more hours for top performers
Bonuses are uncapped. The more appointments you book and deals that close,
the more you earn — strong callers make more from bonuses than from base.
