n8n Automation Expert

Job Description:
Fast-growing automation consultancy seeking a highly skilled n8n expert to design, build, and implement advanced automation workflows for enterprise clients. This is a long-term position with significant growth potential for the right candidate.
We need someone who can not only execute but also think strategically about automation architecture and contribute innovative solutions to complex business problems.

Skills Required:
Essential:

Proven n8n expertise - minimum 2+ years hands-on experience building complex workflows
Portfolio/proof of work - must provide examples of advanced automations you've built (screenshots, documentation, or case studies)
Deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data transformation
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (required for n8n expressions and custom code nodes)
Experience with database integrations (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Knowledge of authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT, API keys, etc.)

Highly Desired:

Python or other scripting languages
Experience with enterprise tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, Workday, etc.)
Understanding of system architecture and data flow design
Error handling and workflow optimization expertise
Experience with self-hosted n8n instances
Knowledge of Git/version control for workflow management


Technical Requirements:

Reliable laptop/computer capable of running n8n locally
Fast and stable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
Availability to join video calls for collaborative workflow design sessions
Comfortable with screen sharing and collaborative problem-solving


Job Responsibilities Include:

Building complex, multi-step n8n workflows for enterprise business processes
Integrating diverse systems and APIs (CRM, ERP, marketing tools, databases, etc.)
Collaborating with me to brainstorm and architect optimal automation solutions
Documenting workflows with clear explanations and maintenance notes
Troubleshooting and debugging existing automations
Optimizing workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability
Staying current with n8n updates and new node capabilities
Suggesting process improvements and automation opportunities
