Role Overview
As a Logistics Dispatch Coordinator, you will coordinate deliveries, dispatch drivers, and track loads to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. You'll be the communication hub between customers and drivers — resolving issues in real time, keeping everyone informed, and maintaining accurate updates across all systems. This is a fast-paced, high-accountability role that rewards strong multitasking, sharp organization, and calm, clear communication under pressure.
### Duties & Responsibilities
**Customer Communication**
- Receive and respond to calls, texts, and
- Current pickup status
- Current load status
- Current ETA for delivery
- Proactively inform customers of any unplanned delays due to breakdowns, hours-of-service limits, or unexpected traffic
**Driver Support**
- Receive and respond to calls and texts from drivers, providing assistance with:
- Pickup issues
- Delivery issues
- Breakdown assistance
- Fuel application issues and troubleshooting
**Dispatch & Load Management**
- Dispatch and send loads to drivers as they become available
- Track loads throughout the pickup-to-delivery cycle
- Request pickup and delivery appointments via
- Perform load checks to verify all client loads are on the load board for dispatch planning and execution
**System & Inbox Hygiene**
- Keep the shared mailbox clean, organized, and as close to empty as possible (all

### Requirements
**Essential**
- Proven experience as a **Dispatcher** or in a logistics/freight coordination role
- Strong verbal and written English — clear, professional, and confident on calls and in writing
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple active loads, drivers, and conversations simultaneously
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through
- Calm and solution-oriented under pressure — able to resolve issues and de-escalate quickly
- Comfortable working a US-time-zone schedule in a fast-paced environment
**Technical**
- Comfortable using dispatch/logistics systems, load boards, and shared communication platforms

**Preferred**
- Prior experience dispatching for US trucking/freight operations
- Familiarity with hours-of-service rules, appointment scheduling, and breakdown/fuel troubleshooting
- Experience managing driver relationships and customer accounts over time
