Project Overview
We are building a workforce development training platform designed to be licensed to corporate partners
We are seeking a highly organized, strategic Instructional Design Virtual Assistant to help us digitize our existing curriculum and build out a scalable learning ecosystem over the next 60 days (with potential for ongoing work).
This role is ideal for someone who understands LMS systems, adult learning theory, and can translate in-person training into polished digital experiences.
Scope of Work (First 60 Days)
You will help us:
1?? Curriculum Digitization
Review existing curriculum (documents, slides, facilitator guides)
Organize and restructure content into modular learning paths
Convert in-person training into digital-ready formats
Align curriculum with workforce development standards
2?? LMS Build Support
Help select and/or implement LMS platform
Upload courses and structure learning paths
Create assessments, quizzes, and certificates
Support white-label configuration
Organize user roles (admin, learner, partner)
3?? Training Materials Creation
Design digital workbooks
Create facilitator guides
Refine and modernize slide decks
Build downloadable toolkits and resource libraries
Create SOP documentation for replication
4?? Instructional Design Strategy
Apply adult learning theory (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, etc.)
Create engaging learning experiences (interactive elements, case studies)
Develop measurable learning outcomes
Structure courses for corporate licensing
5?? Future Consideration (Optional/Advanced)
xAPI or SCORM formatting knowledge
VR integration awareness
Multi-tenant LMS setup experience
Extended enterprise training models
Ideal Candidate Profile
You:
Have 2+ years in instructional design
Have built or managed content inside an LMS
Understand workforce development and/or corporate training
Can think strategically about scaling training programs
Are detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Can work independently and suggest improvements
Bonus if you have:
Experience with Docebo, Absorb, CYPHER, Moodle, or similar
Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, Figma)
Experience building certification programs
Knowledge of hospitality training or service industry training

Time Commitment
10–20 hours per week
