Role Overview
As our Flight Booking Coordinator, you will serve as the technical engine of our air desk and itinerary logistics. This highly specialized role bridges the gap between complex airline distribution systems and bespoke luxury customer service. You will be responsible for executing flawless flight bookings, managing vendor relations, and ensuring our high-end itineraries are flawlessly organized.
Schedule: Preference for non-standard working hours to support our global clientele and dynamic team needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Sabre & Flight Desk Management
*Execute, edit, cancel, and void complex flight bookings swiftly within the Sabre GDS.
*Process intricate flight exchanges and refunds directly within Sabre.
*Manage, research, and coordinate debit memos and other ticketing issues with airline vendors via our host agency partner.
*Apply an advanced understanding of standard and alternative ticketing methods, including mileage/award bookings.
*Vendor Liaison & Financial Accuracy
*Upload and maintain precise airline invoice data within our internal accounting systems.
*Liaise professionally with luxury partners and travel vendors (hotels, airlines, tour operators) to ensure outstanding invoices are settled and tracked accurately.
*Bespoke Itinerary & Data Support
*Make auxiliary bookings on behalf of clients as a core component of the general travel planning process.
*Assist the team with researching hotel rates, analyzing destination options, and building comprehensive travel itineraries.
*Cross-check and reconfirm all client itineraries directly with vendors to guarantee 100?curacy before travel.
*Input and maintain impeccable data across our tech stack, specifically within the Axus Itinerary Building System and Salesforce CRM.
Qualifications & Requirements
*Mandatory Technical Skills
*Must have recent, hands-on experience utilizing Sabre.
*Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience working actively within the Sabre GDS.
*Highly proficient and capable of navigating and executing commands quickly within Sabre.
*Proven mastery of handling complex ticketing exchanges, voids, and refunds.
Industry & Soft Skills
*Advanced, deep-seated knowledge of the travel industry, premium airline operations, and luxury flight routing.
*Familiarity with loyalty programs and the nuances of mileage/award bookings.
*Meticulous attention to detail with an absolute zero-mistake mentality regarding client data and scheduling.
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for cross-checking vendor details and collaborating with a remote team.
*Proficiency or quick adaptability to travel tech tools like Salesforce CRM and Axus.
*A true passion for travel and an appreciation for the standards required by ultra-high-net-worth travelers.
